Newton Wood sponsored the Charitable Champion Award, which was presented to Angela Hay, Chair of the Belgravia Trader’s Association.  Angela supports and champions local businesses, donates her time to organise community events and works with local charity the Lullaby Trust. She organises the annual Christmas window competition charity fundraiser and supports the local trading community.  One nomination said, “She’s indefatigable in her quest to bring the community, traders and landlord closer together to create events that work for all.”

Leslie Wilson, Founder of Newton Wood Epsom salt said, “We’re proud to sponsor this wonderful award to recognise the hardwork and dedication of local charitable champions.  Angela Hay is most deserving of this recognition and we’re honoured to present the award to her this evening. Well done Angela!”

The Belgravia Awards took place on 16 January 2020 at the Berkeley Hotel in London.  The prestigious awards welcomed over 500 guests to celebrate local champions. As well as Newton Wood, sponsors and supporters of the Belgravia Awards included The Grosvenor, The Berkeley, Handelsbanken, Child & Child, The Cleveland Clinic, The Peninsula, Knight Frank, Waitrose, Fortnum & Mason, The Fine Cheese Co., Charles of Belgravia, Ole & Steen, Chucs Restaurant and Bar, Neill Strain, Rachel Vosper and Young Guns. The exquisite reception offered canapés, cocktails and champagne to guests as Tamara Beckwith presented the awards to the winners.

Newton Wood Epsom Salt Crystals – For the day you’ve just had.

I used these epsom salts after taking on the London to Brighton Challenge - walking over 100km in 24 hours. Afterwards my body was aching so much, in particular my feet, legs and hips. I used these salts immediately when I returned home in a bath, and the following day to soak my feet. All I can is it it made the world of difference - I felt so much better and my muscles recovered quicker than they ever have! I'd highly recommend them.
