Movember Gents

Well-Being

29 October 2020

Gents, it’s almost that time of year again…no we’re not talking Christmas… but Movember! For some it’s a breeze (or more so a protection from the breeze!) and for others it’s an uncomfortable annoyance.  But one thing that is unanimous, it’s all for a great cause. So, whether you’re loving the excuse not to shave or itching to Sweeney Todd your facial locks, we have some advice on prepping for the big event.

Movember Top Tips

  1. Step away from the trimmers! Don’t be tempted to neaten, trim or snip anything.  Let it grow.
  2. Train your hair to grow how you want it to by brushing and smoothing into the direction and shape you want to grow.
  3. Use products – treat your skin and your hair to keep it comfortable and in great condition. Dry oils are fabulous for this and remember to use it right from day one.
  4. Exfoliate (said in a true Dalek fashion). Remove those dead skin cells and encourage that hair growth with a weekly exfoliation. It’s as simple as adding some Epsom salt to your usual face wash.
  5. Spritz – a refreshing and soothing Epsom saltwater spritz will treat the hair, and the skin below, to a boost of magnesium.

Remember to let your friends, family and colleagues know so they can support your endeavours and make your Movember experience worthwhile.

I don't usually write reviews on products but am so impressed with Relax Bath & Body oil. I suffer from Parkinsons and disabilities which makes it difficult for me to sleep. However, using this oil before bed really helps me to relax and therapeutic sleep follows. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
